Welcome to the glittering world of burlesque!
At Sunset Studios we run two burlesque classes per week. One for beginners, and one for performers ready to get themselves out there on stage!
House of Royale is owned by Roxie Royale - you may know her as Fern (the owner of Sunset!).
Dancing since the age of 3, Roxie has lifelong experience of performing, teaching, and competing.
After your usual ballet-tap-jazz dance upbringing, Roxie found the sparkly world of burlesque in 2011 and never looked back.
Now a qualified dance teacher, aerial instructor, and stretch coach, Roxie brings her wealth of experience to her burlesque classes. Her supportive coaching, inclusive practices, and years of pedagogy create a welcoming atmosphere for all budding burlesquers.
At House of Royale/Sunset Studios we are committed to creating an inclusive, welcoming environment where you feel safe to step outside of your comfort zone and peel away your inhibitions. Our classes are open to everyone over the age of 18 is welcome, no matter your gender, size, or dance ability.

Mara Dalmore will guide you as you bump n grind your way through the 'burlesque staples', unleashing your inner glamazon. This class will be slower-paced, breaking down the fundamentals and ensuring a thorough understanding of burrlesque techniques.
You will learn to walk like a pro, pose like a pin-up, and begin to exhume confidence you never knew you had! You will uncover some classic burlesque tricks honed in the golden era, such as glove peels, tease, and chair work.
Each week you will learn a new short choreography with a different theme, allowing you to explore various subgenres of burlesque and hone your skills!
You'll find like-minded people ready to embrace the burlesque journey, build confidence, and support each other.
Our burlesque classes are open to anyone over the age of 18. No restrictions on gender, weight, or upper age!Classes will involve dance, movement, and floorwork. Please inform us in advance if you will struggle with any of these things and we will do our best to make suitable adaptations.

Open level class, most suitable for those with some previous dance/theatre/burlesque/pole dance background.
We do accept beginners into this class who are open to jumping in the deep and and getting stuck in!

Building on your burlesque foundations, in this class you'll hone your burlesque techniques and the art of the tease! Ideal for performers and those wanting to perform, as well as those with no intention of ever stepping foot on stage!
These classes are time for you, with no pressure and no commitment. House of Royale is all about expressing yourself and finding your inner light. Let's delve deeper into burlesque!
